Course work in Sochi: tentative schedule
After initial orientation in Seattle, both groups in Sochi will have four classroom contact hours every other day alternating with field-work (except Sundays). While their class-activities, topics and field-work areas will be different, both groups will have comparable schedules:

6:30-7:45 Before breakfast: Dive into the sea!
Informal conversation at the sea-side: Russian group helps Beginners
8:00-8:45 Breakfast (provided)
9:00-10:30 Advanced Russian group Russian Language Instruction: Valentina Zaitseva Beginners mini-course: Veronika Egorova
Coffee break
10:45-12:00 Lecture/seminar VZ/VE
12:00-1:30 LUNCH
1:30-3:00 Video materials, guest speakers, local community membersRussian culture/medical/educational experience
Free time
4:00-6:00 Reading groups [assignements]
6:30-8:00 Supper and discussion


- 2 days a week and some afternoons: fieldwork (going places like schools, sanatoria etc.)

- on Saturdays: group excursions
