I received my Ph.D. from the
University of Chicago Department of Statistics. My Ph.D. thesis advisor was Mary Sara McPeek. My research interest is in the area of statistical genetics, with an emphasis on statistical methodology for case-control genome-wide association
studies (GWAS) in samples with related individuals and/or hidden population structure.
