Overview

The Applied Hearing Science Lab in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Indiana University conducts research on human auditory perception and physiology. Our current research focuses on applying computational techniques (1) to improve the assessments of hearing difficulties experienced by hearing-impaired listeners and (2) to reveal the peripheral and central auditory mechanisms underlying auditory perception.
