This is a 20 second exposure of this planetary nebula in Andromeda. This RGB image combines a 40 second blue image, a 20 second green image and a 15 second red image. Although we went longer in blue, note how red the star above and to the right of the nebula is.

This is a 5 second RGB image of Hale-Bopp. This image was taken on November 8, 1996 as the comet neared the R.A. of the sun, so it was very low on the horizon when this image was taken.
