The workshop

The PNWNAS has been an annual event since 1987, held on a Saturday each fall. It is an opportunity for people interested in numerical analysis and scientific computing from around the Pacific Northwest to gather to for stimulating talks and informal discussion.

Registration

The registration fee for general attendees is US $30, and for students $20. This includes lunch, coffee breaks, and access to the Boeing Museum of Flight (which is ordinarily $18 for adults).

Please register in advance so that we have an accurate head count for the caterers. To guarantee availability of lunch, registration must be received by October 11, 2013.

Please bring cash or check to the event to the event.

If you register and then discover you cannot attend, please notify Mike Epton (michael.a.epton at boeing.com) by October 11, 2013 to avoid being asked to pay even if you don't attend (due to commitment to caterers).

Dinner on Saturday

There will be a no-host dinner at 5:30pm for those who wish to participate. Due to the large number of participants we expect, we now plan to split into groups going to different restaurants, with some choice of both cuisine and direction of travel (since there is nothing very close to the museum). Plans will be finalized during the day on Saturday.

Friday evening

Some people who are in town Friday evening will be gathering at the College Inn Pub (4006 University Way NE, downstairs) at around 6:00pm. Feel free to drop by then or later in the evening.
