About Advances in Disease Surveillance
Advances in Disease Surveillance is a scientific journal that was published by The International Society for Disease Surveillance (ISDS) from 2006 through 2009, containing ISDS conference abstracts and manuscripts directly submitted to the journal. Founding co-editors were Farzad Mostashari, Ken Kleinman, and Bill Lober. John Brownstein has both led some efforts around ADS, and has worked to offer a new, more sustainable publication model to the Society and its members.
The International Society for Disease Surveillance is dedicated to the improvement of population health by advancing the field of disease surveillance.
