• According to my father's geneological research, my 9th great grandfather is Samuel Chapin, which means I share a common ancestor with US Presidents Grover Cleveland and William Howard Taft, Canadian Prime Minister Richard Bedford Bennett, TS Eliot, Harriet Beecher Stowe, abolitionists Henry Ward Beecher and John Brown, and financier JP Morgan.
