Grading:
I will assign letter grades to each completed assignment. For conversion
to numerical grades, please use the following scale:
A = 4.0

A- = 3.7

C- = 1.7

A/B = 3.5
|
C/D = 1.5
|
B+ = 3.3
|
D+ = 1.3
|
B = 3.0
|
D = 1.0
|
B- = 2.7
|
D- = 0.7

B- = 2.7
|
F = 0.0
|
C+ = 2.3
|
X = No grade assigned

On occasion, I will assign non-letter grades to completed assignments. For
conversion to letter grades, please use the following scale:

Assignments
may be resubmitted within seven days. The final grade will be the average of
the original and rewritten assignments.
Note: If a grade is in question, you must submit a formal, type-written request
for a grade change to either of us.
Please wait 24 hours before submitting a grade change request. This request
must include the following information:
¸ Name
¸ Course Section
¸ Date of Grade Change Request
¸ Title of Assignment
¸ Assigned Grade
¸ Justification for a Grade Change
¸ Desired Grade
There is a seven-day time limit on requesting a grade change. Once a grade change
request is submitted,
a conference will be scheduled to discuss the request. No grade changes will
be considered without a formal request.
