Erin is a 4th-year graduate student working towards a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology. She came to the UW after receiving a BA in Psychology at Boston University in 1997. Erin is interested in how the human visual system processes and interprets the visual environment, and how such interpretations affect human performance on real-world tasks. She has studied the effects of image degradation on visual perception and memory, and is currently investigating visual hindsight bias.

Beth Haynes

ewhaynes@u.washington.edu

Beth is a 2nd-year graduate student. She received a BS in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT in 2000. She is currently studying the relationship between confidence and accuracy in facial memory.

Keri Carlsen
