Friction Loss Coefficient for laminar Flow in Different Geometries

The purpose of this project is to develop correlation for laminar flow in Microfluidic devices. The COMSOL MutilPhysics becomes useful in determining the friction loss coefficient KL of the laminar flow.  COMSOL was applied in 2-D axial symmetry model. The nondimentional, incompressible, steady state Navier-Stokes Equation was used to find the total pressure drop in eight models with different geometries. This figure shows a laminar jet goint into an infinite pool.
