Distillation of Ethane

A set of distillation columns are used to separate the ethane from the other components in the natural gas.

However, to determine the best combination of distillation, the following heuristics were used.

HEURISTICS

1	Most Plentiful First
2	Lightest First
3	High Recovery Separations Last
4	Difficult Separations Last
5	Favor Equimolar Splits
6	Cheapest Proceeding Separation
