Distillation of Ethane

Now the gas that's been taken from the ground is filled with all sorts of stuff. But all we want is the ethane, and so we take it out. This is done in a big, tall building that looks like a big tube. It's called a distillation column.

Sometimes we have to use more than one distillation column to remove the ethane from the rest of the stuff.
