The web as a corpus

• The RDUES WebCorp searches the whole web. Useful for finding tokens of low frequency items.
• KWiCFinder by William H. Fletcher. This is software you download to your computer to do KWIC searches of the web.
• Searchenginewatch.internet.com indexes information about the most common searches requested at internet search engine sites.

• The W3C Corpus search engine provides access to the Gutenberg Project texts.
• Search interface for the Electronic Text Collection at the University of Virginia (Modern English Collection)
• CobuildDirect provides access to 56 million words of the COBUILD Bank of English
• Search interface for the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English
• BNC online allows a simple search with of the BNC corpus with results limited to 50 hits.
• Saraceni's Concordance performs concordances on three short texts.
• Penn Treebank Online allows access to some of the Treebank texts, via tgrep. (Requires a license for the treebank.)
