Abstract for Lecture #18 - Activity, Heterogeneous Equilibria and Calculations using the Equilibrium Constant

The concept of activity is presented. This makes values of K and Kp unitless. The treatment of heterogeneous equilibria is explained. Finally some simple problems involving the calculation of reactant and product concentrations in equilibrium are performed. The concept of Q is introduced.
