I am exceedingly pleased to announce that the Provost's Office has approved our request to change the name of the Center for Water and Watershed Studies to The Water Center. Director Anne Steinemann proposed this new name after extensive consulation with our many internal and external partners. We believe that the new center name will allow us to attract new sources of funding and to communicate an expanded vision for the future research and education Anne intends to lead. A copy of the new mission and vision for TWC is available for review.
