To the Editor, for Dr. Jill Biden, the White House Dear Jill (if I may), your love for your husband, the President, is shared by millions, including myself. Unfortunately, the video of you congratulating the President (for “answering all the questions and knowing all the facts”) was not at all appreciated (except by the Donald Trump allies.) In fact, an overwhelming majority of the NYT readers contributed strong arguments and sincere advice for a fundamental reconsideration of the democratic presidential ticket. My respect for you makes me believe that you may be able and willing to change President's mind. And I think the most powerful act that would put President Biden in the company of the greatest, most patriotic leaders in the history of the United States would be a 4th of July Address to the Nation next Thursday, releasing his delegates to vote for the next President who would continue the immense work done in the most necessary transition period of the last four years. And if done properly, it would have positive impact on the Senate and House races, too, and just may help to recover the country from the present hateful, debilitating, dangerous and demeaning crisis.
