Every summer the family enjoys going cruising
in the San Juan Islands in the Strandjord family boat, Foxfire.
Tammy is the family cat, who only rarely slows
down enough to be photographed napping.
The most recent addition to the family is Chloe, a yellow
labrador retriever, that the family found in the pound in January 2002.
She has tremendous energy, and adores people. She is happiest when
swimming, preferably after a duck. Here she is with Sarah by the daffodil
fields near La Conner, Washington in April 2002.
Chloe lives to chase her ball, and chase ducks. She is
a true water dog and gets to the park for some good swimming, ball fetching and
duck chasing almost every day.
Tom tries to keep in
shape, here he's running in the Bay to Breakers, 7 mile run in
San Francisco, May 1997. He still gets out jogging, usually towed behind
Chloe, the dog.
