We are a research group on computational materials science and theoretical condensed matter physics at the Department of Materials Science & Engineering of the University of Washington. We use quantum physics, machine intelligence, and high-performance parallel computing to understand condensed matter systems and predict materials properties. Our primary focus is on the electronic structures, excited-state properties, and light-matter interactions of one- and two-dimensional material systems.
