IBD-based relatedness estimation

Estimated segments of Identity by Descent can be used to estimate relatedness between pairs of individuals. An example of this is given in Browning, B.L. and Browning, S.R., 2011. A Fast, Powerful Method for Detecting Identity by Descent. American Journal of Human Genetics. 88:173-182.

A python program is provided for constructing IBD-based relatedness or kinship matrices, along with instructions and example data, in the tar file IBD_relatedness.tar.

Before you use this program, you'll need to estimate IBD. Refined IBD is recommended.
