  • What were the cases of the famine?
  • What were the consequences to Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un because of the famine?
  • Why do the North Korean people put up with repression without rebelling? (Alternative question: what does the North Korean regime seem to offer to its subjects that makes them see a future?)
