Takeo Miyake

Dr. Takeo Miyake graduated as a B.S. in nano-electronics applied to design a biochip using self-assembled monolayer template from Waseda University in 2004 under Prof. Ohdomari guidance. He studied at the same laboratory to pursue his Ph.D. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology applied to develop a single-molecule fluorescent imaging system using nanostructure arrays. His Doctoral research which took place at the NanoTechnology Research Center (NTRC) of Institute for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology-Tokyo, deals with several aspects of the nano-fabrication and electronics characterization, as well as the combination with organic and biological matter. In 2009, he moved to Tohoku University as an assistant professor, focusing the research topic on enzyme-based biofuel cell using carbon nanoelectrodes. Takeo joined Prof. Rolandi's group in April 2014 as a postdoctoral fellow working on protonic devices and enzyme composite materials.
