Pegah Hassanzadeh

I graduated with a BS in Materials (Ceramics) Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2009. In July 2010, I came to United States and started my studies in Biomedical Materials Engineering at Alfred University focusing on injectable biomaterials for wound healing applications. I graduated with a MS from Alfred University in April 2012 and then I joined University of Washington to pursue PhD in Materials Science and Engineering under Prof. Rolandi guidance in June 2012. My current project is investigating the mechanical properties of chitin micro- and nano structures for applications in the biomedical field.
