DAN545 Research Paper – (you will not be doing The Lineage Project listed on syllabus) You are, of course, welcome to adapt that project to this one if the concept interests you.

Research Paper (25 pts):

It is my hope that you will explore something related to your area of interest, whether it is in music, art, dance, or another field. Delve into a topic that will help you jump-start a dissertation, round out a course you will teach, or simply inspire you to explore something you never had time to before. Obviously, it must involve dance. I am happy to meet with you early on in the quarter to discuss potential topics of interest. Your paper involves several steps and the dates are spread out in order to give you time to realize each component fully. Your deadlines sync up with 345 when you turn in your rough draft. Everyone will be working on peer reviews and final drafts together. You will give a presentation on your paper with 345.
