docBrowser is a function that determines which browser is used to display doc documentation. docBrowser is set to load html documentation onto the Opera browser on the X220 laptop and also on the UHouse computer. If R is running on any other computer, i.e., not on the X220 laptop and not on the UHouse computer, then docBrowser is set to display the R default browser or the system default browser.
During the R startup, the .first function calls the special.jm.options function which calls the docBrowser function to set the default browser for the current computer.
