I was born and grew up in Long Beach, California until I graduated high school and began attending the University of Washington in 2015. I am in my fifth and final year, and will be graduating in June with my bachelor’s in History. After I graduate, I plan to work as a legislative aide for a few years, and then go back to school, either to get my master’s in Public Policy and Environmental Studies, or to work towards a P.h.D and a career in academia. History is probably my greatest passion, but I am also acutely aware that combating anthropogenic climate change and environmental degradation is the challenge of our generation, and I want to do my part.
Music has always been a big part of my life, and in my free time I enjoy playing bass and bouzouki, as well as writing short fiction for the Grantville Gazette, a historical fiction/alternate history publication.
