In the 2000 Presidential elections, one of the many controversies in 
Florida centered on the so-called `butterfly' ballot used in Palm Beach 
County.  It was alleged that this ballot had a confusing layout that 
made some people vote for Buchanan while intending to vote for Gore.

The data in FLvote.dat are the total votes cast for four presidential 
candidates and three candidates for Senator in each county in Florida. The 
columns are

Gore      (Democratic, President)
Bush      (Republican, President)
Buchanan  (Reform, President)
Nader     (Green, President)
Nelson    (Democratic, Senator)
McCollum  (Republican, Senator)
Logan     (other, Senator)

Our interest is to use these votes to estimate how many Gore voters (if 
any) accidentally voted for Buchanan in Palm Beach County.
