The image on the right shows is from deployment in 2000 and the others are from recovery a bit under one year later. The lack of biota in the later images suggest that the diffuse flow at this site faded over the year. It also appears that the prevailing current direction shifted somewhat. The seafloor thermistor did not return valid data. There is no turbulent heat flux record for this deployment. The record mean current at 0.5 m height is 1.8 cm/s directed toward 262°T (Garcia-Berdeal 2006).
