(1) You have been asked to write a synopsis of your credentials and qualifications for a job you are interested in. The goal of this synopsis is to provide an overview and summary of key aspects of your qualifications for the company's job selection committee to read. Your task in this activity is to brainstorm a list of the different types of information you might want to include in this synopsis. Brainstorm as much information as you can.
(2) Select two of the different items on your list from the brainstorming activity in #1 above and, practice freewriting about the topic. Using the freewriting technique, write one or two paragraphs about each of the areas you have chosen.
(3) Review your freewriting examples from the activity in #2 above. What key types of information emerged from your freewriting? What ideas did the freewriting give you about what information you might want to include in your synopsis?
