Emily Porter is a Ph.D. student at the iSchool, studying social networks and imagery. Previously she has worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Junior Data scientist where she developed event and civil engineering based models as well as data visualizations. She received her M.Sc. from the University of Colorado, Boulder in ICTD and her B.A. in political science from Ohio Wesleyan University.
