Ethical Consideration

For this exercise, we will explore what it takes to write an "ethical considerations" section in an ACL-type paper.

1. Select a paper to write one for. This could be a paper of your own (past, present or in progress) or a paper that someone else wrote.
2. Write a 1-2 paragraph summary of the paper.
3. Draft the "ethical considerations" section that you believe would fit with this paper, following the proposal of Schmaltz 2018 or modified as you see fit.
4. Bring your draft to class on DATE. In class, we will workshop these statements.
5. Based on the discussion on DATE, revise your draft and submit the ethics statement assignment by DATE+2.
