The Male Fertility Lab is a full-service clinical andrology laboratory, providing patients and clinicians state-of-the-art testing for male infertility evaluation. Male infertility is caused by a variety of problems. Receiving a complete and accurate diagnosis is essential to determining the most appropriate course of treatment. We specialize in semen analysis, sperm function tests, sperm retrieval and preparation, and sperm freezing (cryopreservation).
The MFL, established 1979, serves physicians, clinics and patients throughout UW Medicine, Seattle, Puget Sound, and Washington State. We have strong relationships with local private IVF programs and The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance). We are affiliated with the Urology Department, Mens Health Center and University Reproductive Care at UW Medicine.
As part of the UW Medicine system, physicians benefit from seamless scheduling and result management. As a regional reference lab, we perform tests for all physicians and patients.
