Required and optional readings as well as other class resources will be announced in this class outline. Readings which are distributed in class or made available for xeroxing are automatically required. Readings and their designations may change during the quarter (i.e. be adjusted to new circumstances, class needs and/ or your background and interests. Such changes will be announced in class. Should you need to miss a class you will be responsible for monitoring such changes).
More important is that you gain an understanding of the concepts and tools covered or referred to in class. The various books available on OUGL Reserve and/or online have overlapping coverage of class materials. This redundancy is deemed desirable for purposes of providing "second opinions" and gaining a deeper understanding. Readings for the week should be read by Tuesday of the week and then selectively reread and incorporated into class-notes after class meetings.
