WHAT WE DO
We are an electrochemistry group working on exciting problems in both fundamental electrochemistry and electroanalytical (bio)sensors.
A central goal of the Zhang Group’s research is the development and use of powerful analytical and physical chemistry tools (e.g., optical microscopy, microfabricated nanoelectrodes, nanopores, etc.) and methods to probe and understand the physical and chemical behavior of single molecules and nanoparticles at the electrochemical interface.
The lab had a group hike at the Oyster Dome near Burlington, Washington.
Milo’s paper on “Effect of Surfactant on Electrochemically Generated Surface Nanobubbles” got published in Analytical Chemistry. Great work, Milo!
The lab is growing. We just had several students joining us: Todd Lewis, Bradley Jarvis, Jaryl Tay, Camerin Killion. Welcome.
Sam defended his thesis with flying colors. Congratulation, Dr. Barlow!!! We are so proud of you!
