• 1/8/20 Ruixuan Wan and Chris McAllister officially join the group as first-year graduate students, Welcome!!! • 11/3/19 The group went hiking at the Oyster Dome trail, ~1.5 h north of Seattle! We arrived at the Samish Overlook at about 10:30 AM and hiked about 3 miles to reach the top of the Oyster Dome. It was such a specatacular view of the Samish Bay! • 07/1/19 Bo Zhang started as the President of the Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry (SEAC). • 06/6/19 Our undergraduate research assistant Matt Louie was selected to receive the Distinguished Research in Chemistry award!. C. • 09/27/17 Dr. Damion Corrigan has returned University of Strathclyde Galsgow in UK after finishing his brief visit in our laboratory. During his visit, Damion worked with Sam Barlow, Chris Gunderson, and Peter Defnet on single cell exocytosis and nanoparticle collision experiments. Chem. editors to be included in a cross-journal virtual issue "Probing the Fundamentals of Light-Matter Interactions", in celebration of the International Year of Light. • 06/29/15 Our NSF proposal has been funded. This grant will support our work on Fluorescence-enabled Electrochemical Microscopy (FEEM). The "1000 Talents Program for Young Scholars" was started by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee in 2010, which is the national supreme talents recruitment plan. It aims at introducing excellent foreign talents, and supports them to become the leaders of some fields of research or technology.
