Dr. Leslie B. Zeman
Dr. Zeman received her BS and DVM from Michigan State University in 1975. She served a Residency in Veterinary Pathology at Carnagie Mellon Institute of Research in Pittsburgh. Her Post-Doctoral research at Cornell University focused on Avian Pathology, particularly diseases of Raptors and Zoo Birds. During that time, she also served as a consultant to the Ross Park Zoo in Binghampton, saw patients in the teaching hospital of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine and served in the State Poultry Diagnostic Lab.
Since then, Dr. Zeman has served in both clinical practice and university settings. She is currently teaching and developing curricula in Animal and Plant Physiology for undergraduate Life Science majors at the University of Washington.
