- Boundary files are available in ARC/INFO export .e00 format, ArcView
Shapefiles .shp format or ARC/INFO Ungenerate (ACCII) format.
- 1990 Census
Lookup
- While data is available on American Factfinder, 1990 Census Lookup is
the fastest way to pull and extract data from 1990 Census of Population
and Housing. Access
tools link is the route to take to get to the 1990 census Lookup and
other access tools.
- The data
dictionary for STF3
- Important because it translates those P0030001 numbers at the top of
your data columns into words. There is a similar data dictionary for STF1
in a zipped format available on the 1990 Census Lookup page.
Economic Census
- Data on businesses from American Factfinder:
- Census is using American
Factfinder as the main vehicle for release of the Economic Census Data
but data is also available from the Economic Census link
off the main Census web page and results are released on CD-ROM.
- County
Business Patterns
- Data on employment by industry for counties, provides data on number
of establishments, number of employees, and payroll. Data by SIC until
1997 and in NAICS from 1998 forward. Provides link to SIC/NAICS bridge.
From this site can select county, zip code, or metropolitan area business
patterns.

- Puget Sound
Regional Council
- For data products including census data for 1990
and 2000 for King, Kitsap, Pierce, Snohomish Counties. Map boundary files
are also available. PSRC has equivalency tables for correlating Forecast
Analysis Zones FAZ and Transportation Analysis Zones TAZ to census tracts.
- Washington
State Data Center
- Part of the Forecasting Division of the Office of Financial
Management, provides access to census data and to shapefiles for
boundaries. In addition OFM Forecasting provides data between censuses
for cities and counties.
Local Economic Data Providers
- Washington
State Employment Security Labor Market Information download
- Provides access to a number of files useful to planners; including
Industry employment and wages, annual averages which correspond to the
printed publication Employment and payrolls in Washington State by county
and industry. For the state the industry is to 4 digit SIC but for
counties it is 2 digit SIC. The online data goes back to 1987, but the
printed publication began in 1946. The Labor market information site has
a very useful set of Selected economic data for the state and counties
1970 to 1996.

- This application allows you to access the MABLE geographic database
and to generate custom "correlation lists" as reports and/or files.

Statements
- This index includes only those Environmental Impact Statements that
have not been cataloged as separate items. The Libraries holdings of
cataloged EIS's appear like other books in the Libraries' catalog, with
authors, titles, subject headings, etc.
