  • Gave lecturers on the modeling concepts and start-of-art algorithms that balance the cost of making the wrong decision now and the value of the information we gain to make better decisions in the future, in the presence of stochastic binary outcomes.

  • Developed a Matlab-based optimal learning testing environment. Gave lectures and held office hours on how to use this platform to build the students' own projects.

Mentor on senior theses

  • Mentored three undergraduate students to guide their research directions and ensure successful completion of experiments in the realm of cost prediction in healthcare using medicare claims data.
