Progress Report Guidelines
- Outline
what you’ve done, what worked, what didn’t
- Describe
how your system works
- Indicate
the software you are using, and alterations you had to make to it
- If the
QP component deviates from your design, describe how
- Provide
any output, results or evaluation
- You
must have the output for the TREC 2005 questions, in a tab delimited
format, which includes the question # and tag. (An example for the 2004 questions is
in the dropbox.) For example:

- Accuracy,
error scores could be useful, if you have them (e.g., if you held out
data from TREC 2004 or the UIUC questions, and tested how well your
system tagged them)
- Include
any output your system generates, especially the output that will be
relevant to the additional components (e.g., IR and QA)
