  • Sorry if I have been very slow responding to mail - had some connectivity problems at our site here in Japan last week.
  • Thanks to students who sent me umail - I miss you too, see you again on the 16th...
  • CLUE is a free UW study resource - check their website for info. They will offer exam review for PHYS 122 on 11/9, 7-9pm, room 271 Mary Gates.
  • See new links in sidebar: email policy, and grading policy details. Read carefully!
  • RE HOMEWORK 1: number of tries for each problem has been upped to 10 due to many problems with webassign, try again! Also, do not worry if you encounter problems (cannot log into webassign despite having a valid ID, or answers never seem to be accepted as correct, etc) - we will do something reasonable about grading this set, after we get WebAssign to fix the bugs...
  • Clickers will be required every day, starting Monday Oct 5. See link in sidebar for more info. Please notice: only HITT RF (not IR) clickers work in our room! Clicker use and registration will be discussed in class Monday 10/5,
  • Are you having problems accessing WebAssign? READ THIS - if problems persist, please contact Mr. Santee at WebAssign (not me, please - we can't fix their system!)
  • ALL enrollment, registration, and waiting list issues are handled by Ms Susan Hong Waiting for a place in class? See overload info page for instructions.
