Math Fair Project completion

1)     Everybody should write a one to two page essay describing one particular incident or aspect of a preparation day or of the Math Fair itself in some detail and depth. Pump-priming questions: What was the particular context? Why were you struck by it? Did you learn from it?

2)     Folks who did at most 3 of the 5 possible visits must also arrange to play Rumis for at least an hour (I will have the game with me on Friday) and discuss strategies with each other. Turn in a page describing things that you figured out.

3)     In addition, folks who did only 2 visits should figure out and write up the complete strategy for tic-tac-toe. If you play it right, you can guarantee that your opponent will not win. And your opponent can likewise guarantee that you wonÕt. Which is why tic-tac-toe becomes boring after a while.
