Instructor: Ginger Warfield Email: warfield@math.washington.edu Office: Padelford C-437 Office Hours: Mondays 2:15-3:15; Wednesdays after class Telephone: 543-7445 ANNOUNCEMENTS
PROBLEM POTPOURRI ANSWERS ARE POSTED! Also posted is the grade sheet as of 12/6. 1) Please check to see that if you turned in your project and your Fear of Math essay, they have been registered. Things came in in so many formats that I am not convinced I got them all.
REMINDER: The Final will be from 4:30 to 6:20 Monday in our regular classroom. I plan to post answers for the numerical problems in the Problem Potpourri on Sunday afternoon. Midterm Make-ups
As in the case of the mini-test, a grade below the cut-off point requires action in order for you to receive credit. If your grade was below 70, you must get a copy of the make-up version of the test and give it to yourself. Give yourself all the time you want, but don't work with anyone else. Once you are done, you must bring it to Stephanie or me and go over it with us. We will ask you to talk through your solutions to some of the problems. If it seems to us that you need some more work to solidify your understanding, we will give you more work to do. All of it is material that I consider essential, and furthermore a lot of it will turn up on the final -- it definitely needs to be well and truly nailed down.
