Seasons of the Word is a translation by Walter G. Andrews of selected poems by Hilmi Yavuz, one of Turkey’s most famous living poets. In addition to an introduction and some notes by Walter, the book contains a fascinating essay by Barry Tharaud on Hilmi Yavuz’ poetry and the translations.
