Niese was an autodidact, holding her debut in Znaim in the Czech republic Czech Republic in 1891. After being a soubrette at the Vienna Raimundtheatre in 1893, she came to the Theater in der Josefstadt in 1899. Aside from guest starring on other stages in Vienna and Berlin, she shined on the Josefstadt stage in numerous roles of, e.g. Hauptmann’s, Schnitzler’s and Anzengruber’s plays, as well as presented her talent next to Girardi in several operettas and cabaret style numbers. Married to Josef Jarno.
