About Me

I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Washington, where I work with Prof. Josh Smith and Prof. Shyam Gollakota. I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle in March 2016. I was a member of the Sensor Systems Lab led by Prof. Josh Smith. I received my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UW, Seattle in 2012 and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT Guwahati, India in 2009. I also completed the Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate (TEC) program from Foster Business school, UW. I was an RFIC intern at Intel Labs, Hillsboro for a period of 6 months.

In my research, I design integrated circuits and systems solutions in the broad area of power harvesting, low power sensing, wireless power transfer and low power communication. My prior research was in the area of implantable devices. Currently, I am focused on developing battery free sensing, computational and communication platforms for Internet of Things and Wearable Devices.
