TSAO STYLE RULES
"High thoughts must have high language" - Aristophanes

I have outlined below the style requirements for any student submitting written materials to me.

Please adhere to these style rules to avoid unwanted and unpleasant grade deductions.

1. Header: top right. Include your name, class rank, the class number, name of the class, assignment title or number, and your email or phone number. Each item should be on a separate line.

2. Papers must be printed as double spaced.

3. Top and bottom margins: 1 inch.

4. Left and right margins: 1.25 inches.

5. Font: use standard 12 point fonts. Times New Roman is the preferred font. Helvetica, Arial or Courier New are also acceptable.

6. Citations: Chicago Manual of Style format for footnotes. Check link above if unfamiliar.

7. Staple paper in upper left hand corner.

Hint: Spellcheck and proofread your paper!
