Marios Dikaiakos

Marios Dikaiakos graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1988 with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at Princeton University in 1994 and joined the University of Washington as a Research Associate in the Departments of Computer Science-Engineering and Astronomy, working with the High Performance Computing and Communication, Earth and Space Sciences Project (HPCC/ESS) and the ZPL Project. Starting January 1996, Marios Dikaiakos is a visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science in the University of Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus.

His research interests include Parallel Systems and Scientific Computing. In particular, he is interested in modeling and simulation of parallel scientific workloads, evaluation of parallel codes, and parallel languages and compilers.
