We use quantum physics, machine intelligence, and high-performance parallel computing to understand condensed matter systems and predict materials properties. Our primary focus is on the electronic structures, excited-state properties, and light-matter interactions of one- and two-dimensional material systems.<\/p>\n\n\n<!-- <h4>Outreach Program - STEM Pals<\/h4> -->\n\n\n<!-- <p>Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (a.k.a. STEM) is crucial to the functioning of today\u2019s society. We aim to work on this issue by developing a rigorous outreach and educational program that will facilitate participation from high schools in WA.
