Letters from our Students

Sometimes our students are kind enough to send us letters about their experiences at DYI.

Here are some that may be helpful to future students:

A letter from Yuli Gowling, Australia

“Namaste and good day, You are either doing or considering one of the yoga courses offered by the Divine Yoga Institute run by Thakur Krishna Uprety [Sannyasi Vishnuswaroop]. Having just completed the Yoga Passport Program fast track (a 6 week program) and now returning to my home town of Adelaide  Australia, I will share my experiences with you …” [more]

A letter from Linda Grieve, Scotland

“Namaste. Chances are that if you’re reading this then you’re thinking of doing some yoga at the Divine Yoga Institute in Kathmandu, run by Mr. Thakur Krishna Uprety. I’m just about to finish my sixth (and final) week of the Passport Programme offered at the centre and the aim of my writing this is to give some information about the course.  Hopefully, in the process I’ll answer some questions you may have…” [more]

A letter from Bob in Taiwan

“...
I was so excited after the first few weeks that I wanted to write and tell you these things. But I also know that the easiest thing in the world is to make fast progress for a few weeks...and then stop. Fortunately, the benefits have been so dramatic that I have continued to practice. I learn something about changes taking place in my body just about every day. There's always something, some new discovery, and all I have to do is devote one hour a day. I have never been a "morning person," but now I can hardly imagine leaving for work without practicing yoga first.”

Finally, a letter of appreciation from the Nepal National Physical Exercises project, thanking Sannyasi Vishnuswaroop for his help developing a yogic practices program for Nepali youth.
