Also managed and was senior author of a synthesis of existing knowledge of natural and human resources of coastal Washington for state legislature, 1988-89.

Co-wrote several technical reports on potential impacts of climate change on marine fisheries, focusing on Alaska pollock, for U.S. Department of Energy.
