2. Assume that Hrdy's argument about the evolutionary origins of maternal instincts is correct. What implications does it have for present-day society?
3. After reading Hrdy and the other authors about gender and evolution, are you more or less likely to accept Chagnon's ideas about gender, fierceness, warfare in Yanomamo society?
